Like the rest of the KTM- SX-F range, the KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION comes with totally tool-free suspension setup at both ends. The shock absorber design features hand-adjustable dual compression control, it allows riders to tweak high- and low-speed settings in a matter of seconds. On the front end, the forks are also easily changeable thanks to a single air pressure preload valve, as well as easy access click adjusters for compression and rebound. We'll even throw the air pump in as standard.
Air filter box
The KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION uses a one-piece construction of the air inlet sleeve and snorkel for more durability and less possibility for air deformation. Designed to provide maximum airflow, the air filter box also comes with a special white vented cover. The Twin Air filter and air filter support have a simple fail-proof mounting system for safe and accurate filter installation, ensuring the filter is easily accessed and therefore easy for maintenance.
Customization
Shape your KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION quickly and easily with the Connectivity Unit Offroad. This two-part system is mounted between the right fork leg (protected by the shape of the number plate) and the GPS component on the redesigned front fender. The 'CUO' enables a wealth of easily adjustable options for engine behavior and suspension settings via the KTMConnect App. But that's not all. The KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION boasts one of the most manic 4-stroke powerplants in the pits, with its SOHC engine proving to be the perfect example of advanced engineering. The engine is positioned to lower front sprocket position, meaning greatly improved mass centralization. Fixed on special black 'race' mounts to help with chassis flex, and an overall weight of only 59 lb (26.8 kg), this motor will leave the competition with more than a little mud on the face. An Akrapovic slip-on exhaust not only adds an important aesthetic to the KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION but also peels away more weight and adds even more punch to the power.
Launch Control & Quickshifter
The KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION uses launch control and a Quickshifter function, allowing for fast upshifts without using the clutch. Launch control is easily engaged by pressing the traction control and Quickshifter buttons simultaneously and works by limiting the amount of power to the rear wheel, improving traction, and preventing loss of control under hard acceleration. Meanwhile, the Quickshifter function means you can bang through from 2nd to 5th gear with your focus solely on the first corner. Honing starts is made easier with the KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION due to the WP FACTORY START DEVICE that lends useful compression on the front forks and is easily engaged and then disengaged when blasting into action.
Selectable Maps + TC
The map select switch on the KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION features a simple design, allowing for easier functionality in switching between 2 engine maps. Map 1 provides a more linear power curve. while map 2 punches all-out with aggressive throttle and explosive delivery. Luckily, traction control is easy toggled to an on-or-off position from the same switch, ensuring maximum traction and a distinct advantage in wet or muddy conditions.

Powering protection
The Dunlop Geomax MX34 tires are the latest offering from the factory with a carcass designed for optimal damping and absorption and for an improved 30% longer distance. The MX34 also has improved block technology (taller and wider) for better dispersion, traction, and control, with a special rubber compound also raising the game for durability.
The glossy orange frame was a key refinement of the 2024 KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION that has carried over to the new model year. Different wall thickness and cutaway sections improved the degree of flex and trimmed away significant weight. The chassis repositioned rotating mass closer to the center of gravity. Redesigned shock mounting provided improved anti-squat behavior to better traction out of corners, while the footpeg mounting position moved inwards for less risk of hooking up in deep ruts or when scrubbing jumps. The chassis concept remains strong and Red Bull KTM FACTORY RACING continues to win races and set records at the highest level with the same principle.
Ergonomics
The KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION features a refined rider triangle, providing optimal knee contact - especially when standing on the pegs - with ideal gripping surfaces all around. The plastics work to expel mud buildup in wet, muddy conditions. A flat seat profile with a ribbed FACTORY seat cover permits exceptional rider movement and control.
